Of all the zombie movies you have seen what are on the top of your list? For me its Dawn of the Dead ( Zach Snyders ) and Night of the Living Dead ( Tom Savinis version ). Whats on yer list?
Return of the Living Dead is brilliant and could be held up against any film in any genre.
and Romero's Day of the Dead.
I could watch (and you could make) any film -- just add zombies -- and it's legit. I'm thinking like Top Gun with Zombies. Pretty much any Tom Cruise film with Zombies would be awesome.
i love em to... really look forward to discussing em in detail with you . Brand new forums so we are still breaking em in but hopefully will be a fun place for us all to hang out and enjoy the zombie genre
Mistress, if you dig Quarantine, have you seen [REC]? If not, pick it up. While I enjoyed the American version wit Q and was surprisingly not at all upset by the changes, I feel [REC] is superior in many ways and the fact that it is a foreign language film adds to the charm.
I recommend it. I find it creepier and more to the point. It's not as long (as the makers of Q threw in some added scenes) and I think it nails the atmosphere. The origin of the disease is quite different as well which is an excellent cross section of the differences between what we find frightening over here versus those who are still heavily steeped in religion. That aspect alone is worth it.
