currently reading this book,
which thus far is an instant classic to the genre,
although technically an "infected" story great story telling, great characters
can't wait to report more

Your accomplishments and talent... aaanyhoo -
I received this book as a gift (zombies/infected + martial arts = instant WIN),
and I couldn't put it down (willfully).
I've since picked up Dead Man's Song from the paperback section of my local library
and in the meantime eagerly await more Joe Ledger, who is hands down my fav
literary character in recent history. Thank you so much for the links and I hope you will visit us again soon.

I greatly enjoyed this book and wanted to post how much I liked the book, but I was shocked when Jonathan Maberry posted a reply! Good post Bub! I read Patient Zero on a business trip. I picked the book up in anticipation of a boring trip and started the book on the plane. I finished the book in 18 hours. I got caught up in the story and I really enjoyed Joe Ledger and would enjoy seeing a TV show or movie about him.
Everyone is suspicious and fearful of men with guns and knives in their community, but would reply on this person they fear to be the first to step up and defend them if the worst should happen.
