Deadlands 2 HD DVD Cancelled

We get the following from Gary Ugarek director of Deadlands 2, and its HD DVD release:

WETNWILDRADIO FILMS is  sad to announce that the Deadlands 2: Trapped HD DVD project has come to an end. The project which was passionately pursued for the last 6 months has hit one too many roadblocks, including US stampers backing out of the deal/process at the last minute to poor management of the project at ANTHEM PICTURES, the films US Distributor.

Those who pre-ordered the HD DVD can request a refund of their pre-order charge from Anthem Pictures by emailing them directly, info@anthemdvd.com, or calling 818-597-2344 and pressing #1 at the prompt. Have your electronic receipt or credit card number ready for the sales representative when emailing or calling to request your refund.

Frankly I dont get an HD DVD release and would never have bought a dead format. Checkout a 3minute trailer from the film below and be sure to buy it on DVD where fine zombie films are sold.
