Dawn of the Dead TV Series?

According to ThehorrorGeek a new TV series is being developed based on George Romeros Dawn of the Dead. There are extremely limited details on how it will go down but apparently the TV series will be a mix of George Romeros Dawn of the Dead and Zach Snyders remake.

Both films are awesome in their own ways and if MTV can do a series right combining elements from both films that will kick some ass!
