Night of the Living Dead 3D Remake Coming

It seems that somebody is keen on bastardizing Night of the Living Dead in a new project which will feature cgi, 3d and yes…. George Romero’s classic work. Simon West who did Con air and Lara Croft Tomb Raider is doing a 3d, CGI fest remake of the classic zombie tale and will focus on the back stories of the characters creating what they filmmakers call ‘an American Style Anime’.

Thank you Hollywood for once again shitting on genre fans. Not only are they doing 3D and GCI but they somehow have zombie fans confused with Anime fans and are going to give us an ‘americanized anime film’. I dont know what to say. I liked the alst NOTLD remake because Tom Savini Directed and Romero produced. The only reason this film is getting made is because the film is public domain and they can get away with capitalizing off Georges name.
